The UNLV Rebels claimed their fourth victory of the season over Southern Utah on
Tuesday by a score of 21-6 to improve to 14-15 on the year. The loss drops the
Thunderbirds overall mark to 6-21. SUU was playing its first game since the
release of head coach David Eldredge earlier in the week.
“I felt like
our guys came out strong in the way they were able to get that run in the first
inning,” said SUU interim coach Clayton Carson. “I give credit to UNLV and the
way they played, they did a good job swinging the bat and hit the ball
well.”
Conference starts for SUU starting Friday April 6th against Western Illinois. Good luck SUU and win conference!
