SUU loses the series against Oral Roberts 2-1 but snow cancels the final game!

The first game played against Oral Roberts was on Friday and ORU starter Kurt Giller took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before tossing a complete game shutout to help the visiting Golden Eagles take a 6-0 win over SUU at Thunderbird Park on Thursday. The SUU defense turned in a solid performance behind a strong outing by starting pitcher Chase Rezac, but the Thunderbirds were unable to get on the scoreboard after recording just three hits and leaving seven runners on base.
On Saturdays, both teams were in action again playing a double header. After dropping an 8-4 decision in the first game of Friday’s doubleheader with Oral Roberts, Southern Utah bounced back for a 6-0 win over the Golden Eagles in their second meeting of the day behind a complete game shutout from Justin Neubauer. The junior lefty took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before giving up his lone hit of the contest to help the Thunderbirds improve to 10-24 on the year.
Todays game was suppose to be scheduled at 1 put due to snow the game was snowed out. Cedar City sucks
